Hi, I'm Tanya founder of Paws to Profit, and I help dog sitters build profitable, professional businesses that attract better clients, increase their income and give them more freedom, without relying on paid advertising or third-party booking apps.
Before building my own dog sitting business, I spent more than 25 years in corporate sales and marketing, learning exactly what makes businesses stand out, attract loyal customers and grow sustainably. I combined that experience with my passion for dogs to build a business that works in the real world and now I teach other dog sitters how to do the same.
At first, I relied on a third-party booking app. It helped me get started, but I quickly realised that if I wanted to build a sustainable, profitable business, I couldn’t rely on someone else’s platform. I needed to build my own brand, create my own client experience and take control of my business.
So, in 2020, I launched 3 Spoilt Dogs.
I didn’t build it through paid advertising, viral social media or luck. In fact, I’ve never spent a cent on advertising.
Instead, I focused on the things that actually create long-term success:
- Positioning my business differently.
- Charging based on value, not fear.
- Creating systems that saved time.
- Delivering an exceptional client experience.
- Building trust and strong relationships with every client.
Today, 3 Spoilt Dogs is a thriving boutique dog sitting business with consistent enquiries every week, loyal repeat clients, a waiting list for many services, hundreds of five-star reviews and a business that supports the lifestyle I always wanted.
More importantly, it has given me freedom.
Freedom to travel for six to eight weeks each year, enjoy the finer things in life, spend time with my dogs and build a business that works for me rather than one that consumes my life.
That's why I created Paws to Profit.
Not to teach theory, but to show you the exact strategies I’ve used to build a profitable, sustainable dog sitting business from the ground up.
Everything inside Paws to Profit comes from real-world experience. I’ve made the mistakes, tested the ideas, refined the systems and discovered what actually works.
My goal is simple: to help you build a dog sitting business that attracts the right clients, pays you what you’re worth and gives you the confidence, freedom and income you’ve been working towards.

I’m also living proof that it’s never too late to change direction. I made the leap from corporate life in my 50s, and it’s one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.
